Dave Taylor’s iPhone tips
Dave Taylor has a cool tip for uploading pictures to Flickr from your iPhone. He says you can take pictures on your iPhone and send them off to Flickr on the fly, without using a computer as an intermediary step.
Flickr generates a unique email address for each registered user, so if you just send your pics to that address, they get uploaded without any hassles.
He’s really thought it through, you’ll notice. Check this:
…create a new contact in your Address Book called, perhaps, Flickr, and set that odd address that you’ve gleaned from their site as the e-mail address for that contact. Save it. Done.
Any time you want to upload a picture from your iPhone to your Flickr account, it’s as easy as choosing “E-mail Photo” and entering “flickr” to send it along and have it automatically show up.
I like the idea.
He also has some handy tips for deciding whether you should purchase an iPhone, and whether existing iPhone users should upgrade to a 3G iPhone. Worth a read.

Thanks for the link! The original article also showed how you can title the Flickr photo with the subject of the email message, add a description in the body and even add keyword tags by prefacing lines in the body with “tags:”, but, alas, that was cut due to space constraints.
Actually, my site has tons of iPhone help if you haven’t dug around. Go here: http://www.askdavetaylor.com/about_iphone.html
Thanks again!
