3G iPhone Camps for i-Day
Camping outside Apple store has become a sort of an addiction with Apple fans. The ritual of waiting started last year at the time of the launch of the iPhone. This year, there is this news of a whole family waiting outside Apple Store in New York and some people using the waiting episode for advertising. Some people are even aiming to make their way to the World Record Book by camping outside Apple Stores.
In New Zealand, people are not very happy with Vodafone’s pricing. Instead of putting up a protest site or crying foul (like the Canadians) about the high price, some people have started camping outside Apple Store in Auckland. These fans are ready to beat nature with deck chairs, sleeping bags and tents.
With meals being supplied and their place in the queue retained for them by friends when they need toilet breaks, these iPhone fans in New Zealand seems to have no other worries, they just want to be one of the first people to own the 3G iPhone. The phone will be available from 12.01 am GMT, they still have to wait for some more time.
