3G iPhone Liners

It has been a long wait for all of us (iPhone fans) to see this day to dawn. When most people around the world were still snoring, we sneaked out of home to join the long queue outside Apple Stores. We knew the store won’t be opened not earlier than 8 am, but we were there as early as 3 am. Security around the store was tight and the security guards didn’t even allow us to take pictures near the store, we just keep our calm. We are not alone; people in many countries wherever the 3G iPhone is launched are also waiting like us. I am glad to learn all these waiting and queuing up news and love to share with you all.

In Japan, where foreign mobile companies have never made their presence felt, the launch of the 3G iPhone is about to change the trend. SoftBank Mobile started selling the iPhone this morning at 7 am in Tokyo and there was a report that the queue outside the store was half a mile long. The local mobile manufacturers like Sharp, Panasonic and Fujitsu has not seen this kind of crowd. The success is attributed to the popularity of Apple computers and iPod among the Japanese.

At Providence, RI Mall, as reported, people started waiting from 3:45 am. I like the level of patience reported from every corner of the world. In Columbia more than 150 fans were already waiting by 7: 42 am. We will cover more of these wonderful stories as it flows in.
