3G iPhone out of Stock
Continuing with our story of iPhone 3G shortage, we just want to let our readers know that we might have to wait for some more time. Those who placed business orders as early as 13th July also need to wait for 4-6 more days. The best thing we all can do now is to book for the device at the earliest. We might be caught in another unwanted surprise when the shipment finally comes.
All retail outlets across US are near empty. Here is a report that there is only one 8GB iPhone in Hawaii, one 16GB black 3G iPhone in California, and only one 16GB white 3G iPhone in Manhattan Store. These also could have gone by now if the report was accurate.
Checking the online availability report doesn’t help much either, the unavailable note, “Check back tonight after 9:00 pm. for tomorrow’s availability at this store” is always there.
In Britain too, O2 and Carphone Warehouse employees are reported to be tired of apologizing to eager customers about their out-of-stock dilemma. Poor guys, they are just emissaries of the 3G iPhone.

I went to the AT&T store to check my credit (yup, im 18 years old) and I quialified for up to 5 lines, $ 0.00 deposit, and of course, any phone i wanted. Sure i would get up to 5 iPhones, but i just went for one. (I dont wanna ruin my credit)… So I said, “One iPhone please!”
To my luck, they ran out. So he said, “You will get your iPhone in 7 to 10 days and we’ll activate it then.”
So they took my information and ordered an iPhone for me. They wont bring more in to stock up anytime soon. They will only order if a customer wants to order one.
I dont know if that only applies to my city or not, but the wait is stressfull… I had to go to the AT&T store to play around with the phone again! I cant wait!!!!!
