iPhone as a long distance remote to control your home? It will not be an App though. CLIQK, the New York based home automation services firm has recently announced that the CLIQK VIP members can now use some customized iPhone as a home remote control from any part of the globe.

These customized iPhones can be used to control every setting of the house–right from the security issues to music and even lighting and ambience!

How does it work? One of the privileged CLIQK VIP clients has this to say:

“After a long evening, you can’t imagine how good it feels to come home to the right music, temperature, and lighting - all regulated by me long before I get anywhere near my home.”

Sounds a bit like “The Truman Show”, specially if you do not have an iPhone, but your big bro, or worse, parents have one.  What is not clear though is that how is it going to work. CLIQK has been pretty tight-lipped about this so far.
