Long fingernails? Try this stylus with your iPhone

Ever since its launch, the iPhone has been admired, most of all, for its multi-touch screen. Nevertheless, there have been complaints that for people with long nails or huge fingers the device can be a little inconvenient.

For example, Consultant and Lecturer Erica Watson-Currie of Newport Beach feels the iPhone didn’t solve the fingernail problem:

Considering ergonomics and user studies indicating men and women use their fingers and nails differently, why does Apple persist in this misogyny?

Apple doesn’t agree. As Steve Jobs put it:

We are all born with the ultimate pointing device—our fingers—and iPhone uses them to create the most revolutionary user interface since the mouse.

Most people are happy with the touch screen, but some are not. For such people, Ten One Design has come up with a stylus that can be used instead of your fingers.

Users with manicured long nails will find it beneficial. Moreover, people with large fingers would appreciate it as it will enable them to navigate through the icons with dexterity.

Even gamers will like the stylus as it ensures speedy taps on target, as they can pinpoint minute objects with accuracy, scroll and navigate with ease.

For those who think jabbing at a screen with your fingers looks silly, the stylus perhaps also offers the opportunity to make a style statement.

The stylus has a soft durable tip which keeps your iPhone smudge free. You can effortlessly glide across the touchscreen. The folks at Ten One Design claim that this accessory does away with the awkward typos.

The stylus comes with an innovative clip. Apart from keeping the stylus secure, it doesn’t hamper with the functioning of the keys.

I suppose this solves the problem for people with long fingernails, but one question remains: how do we do the pinch- to-zoom actions using this stylus?
