Good news for Facebook users on the iPhone or the iPod touch. An update of Facebook application (2.0) is coming in September that will make the handhled experience equivalent to the actual Facebook website feel on the PC.

New features to be added:

1. News feed will be added, which will enable you to see posted items, interest and relationships, photos and other things of your friends.
2. You’ll be able to post comment on stories and will be able to sort applications and friends list.
3. All notifications will be visible on the home tab and new notifications will be auto added even if the application is open.
4. You will be able to search for other people and place friendship request and approve friendship request in turn.
5. The inbox will now contain more than 30 messages, you will be able to see all your old messages. You’ll also be able to search your inbox and see your sent folder too.

That is quite an update. Let us all wait for September.
