Remember Frogger? Now, at last, you can play it on your iPhone. Konami Digital Entertainment, a leading developer of entertainment products has introduced the classic Frogger game on the iPhone. This entertaining game is a classic, where you help Frogger handle difficult obstacles and reach the other side of the bank.

Just in case you don’t recall, here’s how the game works:

• You need to move the frog from the bottom of the screen to the top. Guide your amphibian friend across busy traffic, and avoid getting run over by speeding cars. Frogs must hop on to logs or on top of turtles to reach the home base. 
• When a lady frog appears, the frog has to jump on her back and escort her to safety. This gets you bonus points.
• A fly might randomly appear on the home base and if the frog jumps onto the bank at that moment the player gains some more bonus points.
• Enable your frog to hop onto the turtle’s back since if it is unable to hop on the turtle’s back, it will sink and drown.
• Your frog faces the danger of being eaten by crocodiles, snakes and otters. But the plus point here is the frog can hop hop onto their backs and take the ride but it has to smart enough not to hop into their mouths to avoid being eaten.

The golden rule here never touch the snake as it is deadly and spells doom for the frog. You win a level every time you enable five frogs reach the safety of the other bank.

Familiar, yes. If you are old enough, it probably makes you all nostalgic. The 1980’s saw rise in the video games and Konami made a indelible mark in the video gaming world. It first introduced frogger in Japan and it became a huge success acquiring cult status. Later Sega got the opportunity to produce this game in the U.S. in 1981.

This game is pretty entertaining but it’s close to $10 and a tad too costly.
