Some prankster must have developed this GottaGo app. What does it do? It helps you to avoid boring and tricky situations in a nice and polite way.  How? Set a timer and a “phoney” name and a tune. This app “calls” you at the time you want!

Features of this app include 10 original ringtones and five downloadable options for iPhone users only. The ringtones are simply great.  Just have them on your iPhone. You can also include vibration options.

There are a few glitches here and there, like when the app “calls” you, the screen sometimes goes blank instead of a screen like the one in the screenshot here. And after the “call” is ended/attended the app tends to go back to the Gottago screen. Not a great escape device if people are looking at your iPhone!

Overall, a nice prank app and very useful to avoid tricky situations. It actually helped me to skip my boring lunch with my boss! Now I think this solution should have been invented the day mobile phones were invented. A tactful and simple solution, essential for a truly smart phone!

What I find a bit confusing though is that this is basically a beta version and the devlopers have stated their plans for the upcoming versions. So why is it priced at $1.99?
