Suppose you want to brush up your homework about the person you are just about to meet for a business deal (or even for something as mundane as an interview!). A quick browse through your professional “who-is-who”‘ list will be just the thing you would like to do on a hurried trip to SF. Linkedin on iPhone provides you just that.

The interface for Linkedin in iPhone is neat and the app is divided into four major sections to provide information in a seamless way:

Section 1: News feed. Displays new updates from your contatcs.
Section 2: “Connections”: Enables you to list up your connections like the built-in iPhone contact list.
Setion 3: “Search”. Search contact by names, keywords company and title.
Section 4: “Status” -Update your status.

Moreover, you can list your Linkedin contacts to your iPhone contact list as well.

The app is not without its drwabacks. In fact overall it has the look of a sort of a extensive business contact spreadsheet, albeit real time and neatly organized. The question-answers features and group and job searching options need to be includede to make it a fullly fledged and extremely handy app for business people on the go.

Perhaps another step towards the iPhone 3G becoming an Enterprise cellular device.
