Just read your comment and here is the straight answer to your query. You can get an unlocked iPhone 3G cheaper here http://www.iphonefootprint.com/2008/09/unlocked-iphone-3g/ Here, you have to wait for more time though, as the shipment has to come all the way from Malaysia. However, do know that jailbroken iPhones have no warranty, no App Store fun, etc.
Ok so im just kinda upset at the ridiculous price you are charging, it takes the brain power of a monkey and literally 4 or 5 clicks of a mouse to unlock and jailbreak and iphone, anyone who is willing to pay 1,200 dollars to have someone unlock and jailbreak their iphone. Also on the topic of warranty, jailbroken phones can be easily set back to default without apple knowing what you have done to the phone and the app store stays on the phone, its not like once you unlock the app store magically disappears. I just find it rude and odd that you would lie to your customers.

Cheapest iPhone 3G will be available from AT&T for $599/8GB & $699/16GB mind you these are refurbished units that Apple has certified New, so they’re like the new ones you but from AT&T. Apple will also sell the phone online as well but will be an unlocked model like in Hong Kong which as of now is $650/8GB, $799/16GB. For a phone that will cost you an arm and a leg just to surf the web then there it is. I suggest you get an iPod touch+net-book it will cost you less and you possibly tether it.
