Update: iPhone 2.0.1 software released

In a wee hour (4.46 am) post today at the MacWorld, Jim Dalrymple informs us that Apple has released its a 249 MB update on the original iPhone 3G software.

As it is usual with Apple, they are typically tight-lipped about what exactly has been changed. However, they have confirmed one thing, that this updation has dealt with bug-fixing. It can be downloaded from iTunes through the computer to your iPhone. This update is also available for the iPod touch.

Let us hope now that the apps have a smoother run on your iPhones.
