Brain Lantern is an application that brings Yahoo Images right to your iPhone and iPod touch. Open the application and type the keyword of the image that you want to view and tap “search.” All related images are displayed as slideshow at 1 slide per 5 seconds.

Strange, developers really have no time to write even the simple description for their applications these days. As for the application, I had say it will be handy only if you are far from your PC. The images displayed are all selective and does not display the whole collection that you find when you use Yahoo Image search. There is no option to go back or make the slide show quicker. It just sort of take the same slow time for loading each image, kind of painful. Not to be used as a substitution for image search options either on Yahoo or Google.

There is no built in button for saving images, the only option is taking screenshots, not good. The application being free doesn’t make it any better. The logic of placing it under entertainment section too is hard to comprehend. It should have been placed in photography section. This application really needs some quick rework and yes, a better and clearer description too.
