BlackBerry Thunder to Storm iPhone 3G

The much waited real battle of iPhone 3G and BlackBerry Thunder will be delayed till mid-November. What happened it was supposed to be officially launched by now? The Thunder is going through the process of ‘technical acceptance’ (TA) from Verizon.

According to rumors the whole process will take a cool 3-4 weeks, that brings us to mid-November. This is bad news for BlackBerry Thunder fans. Oh, to make it sound like a totally new device, the maker and fans of BlackBerry has signed a treaty to called the device as BlackBerry Storm 9530 . Therefore from now on it is an offense to call Blackberry Storm 9530 as BlackBerry Thunder.

Verizon is at its best fixing the reported sluggish UI and other bugs that make the phone very slow, buggy and unresponsive. Well, RIM faithfuls still have to bear for 3-4 weeks to taste the feel of using an iPhone 3G like touchscreen.  We always thought BlackBerry fans cannot live without the physical keyboard, at least that was not true.
