Cheap iPhone Games: Developers Cutting Prices

There is a very interesting thing going on around us. Developers of iPhone games and other applications are actively reducing the prices of their applications to attract more users, it seems so. Price reduction strategy is not a new thing, but for those apps that have some sky rocketing price tags to sell now for a throw away price is something fascinating. Many applications in the Games category are ready to adopt this price reduction strategy.

This is the time to bite the dust for those who jailbreak their iPhones to get free applications , Cro-mag rally is selling for only $1.99. What? Cro-mag Rally used to cost $9.99 ( we bought this game at this price), yet we feel happy for those users who are going to download this game after the price cut. All applications from Pangea Soft are now available almost for  free, it’s hard to believe right? Not only this, many more games that were and are still hot now have lower price tags.

This is a seasonal offer maybe, it is hard to say, however, it is evident that attracting more users is the primary target of most of the developers. Making money thereafter seems to be the secondary goal.  But probably some other ways of making money is coming up. Whatever that may be, a very sound and sane option for the users indeed.

On eof the most enjoyable bombing, shooting and rescuing game Chopper has also come down to $4.99 from $7.99. Tetris that forced out Tris from the App Store is also selling for $7.99, which initially was tagged at $9.99. Chimp Ohoy that cost $9.99 initially has come down to $2.99.

Price reduction movement has started and we will see more reductions and of course more unstoppable downloads.
