After all those talks, Russians are finally going to get the iPhone 3G beginning October 3rd. There will not be much switching of carrier as three major carriers are launching the long awaited gadget. Beeline, Megafone and MTS are the carriers for the iPhone 3G in Russia.

The carriers are yet to announce the pricing details, however, here is a prediction that the price will range from 23,000 to 27,000 Rubles (US $910, $1,080) for the 8GB and 16GB respectively.

Pre-order for the gadget has started according to this report. Pre-sales estimate puts that around 150,000 units could be sold by the end of 2008.
