iTunes 8 and app incompatibilityon iPhone and iPod touch
The iTunes 8 is here, but with the customary Apple eccentricities. It won’t allow some of the apps to be compatible with both iPhone and iPod touch. Here is what David Martin, of iPhone Atlas found out.
These apps are Dial Zero, Distance, GPS Tracker, Jott, Kyte, Loopt, NetShare, Voice Notes and Wooo Button. What is not clear though is that what makes them incompatible. Does this happen because the developers have tweaked some thing exclusively iPhone specific into these apps? Or is it another apparition from the mysterious Apple technology limbo?
