So locking of the iPhone 3G was a myth? Maybe, someone tested and confirmed that the iPhone 3G works on a PAYG SIM. This guy made an experiment with a SIM that he uses on his first generation iPhone and reported that he even got 3G connection in a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Please remember that we are not talking about pwn iPhone but we are talking abou the cocconed iPhone on which we can use un-pwn option. This is the best practice that the finder has to share with us:
