Sleep, Relax and Mediate with the help of White Noise, the iPhone Healthcare App
Is your sleep tuned with sounds? You cannot concentrate if you don’t hear listen to the tranquility of sound of your beach side resort back in Seattle?
This health care app is not the absolute replacement for the natural environment. Nonetheless, if you are especially attracted and attached to the sounds of your surroundings, this app will become a sort of a necessity on your iPhone in that case.
What good is this healthcare app?
1. It provides sounds that can be categorized into two sections – natural sounds and artificial sounds:
A. Natural sounds: Beach, Crickets, Rain and Chimes
B. Artificial sound: Fan, TV, Air and Clock.
2. Select the sound that helps you to sleep. Or meditate, or relax, or concentrate. Then adjust the volume and the timer.
You are feeling the sense of Déjà-vu? Yes aSleep is there. As well as Ambiance. So why White Noise? First, the sound quality is distinctly better in this app. Second, the UI. I was always of the opinion that you did not need a “calm” visual to feel cool. Its UI is much better to look at.
The downside: Lack of variety in sounds.
However, this is version 1and free (you need to spend 1 dollar each for both Ambiance and aSleep) and with promises of enrichment based on user feedback.
