The new iPod nano

Apple’s “Let’s Rock” event was fun, full of music. And there were live performances too. Jack Johnson, who’s proved to be the bestselling male artist in the iTunes store, performed during the event, and thanked Apple for all the support.

And Steve Jobs looked just fine, although a still little thin. He started off by quoting mark Twain: “Rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated.” A nice jibe at Bloomberg, who messed up badly recently.

The nano-chromatic range of iPod nanos looks simply gorgeous:

Which makes me wonder: what’s with the chrome concept these days anyway? Google’s new browser is called Chrome, and Apple’s launch for the holiday season is “nano-chromatic.” Expect Microsoft to launch a chrome-plated Zune model one of these days.
