At least from the point of view of such a simple thing as unlocking the phone. it is way more difficult to unlock the Android Dream for somebody who does not own the handset.

Instead of the smooth, simple and elegant “slide to unlock” feature of the iPhone, you have options to customize the locking functions to protect your Dream.

What you can do is that you can set your own unlock pattern (which can be as simple as the “slide to unlock” iPhone pattern. Or can be as complex as it gets, if you do use up the nine dots on the screen.)

Looks simple, but I found it pretty quirky. Certainly makes it safe from unwanted and obtrusive friends, if not from the people who might be paranoid enough to pick your pocket for an Android.
