App Store iPhone application name link not working
I have become very fond of the App Store that I often click on the various links to know what takes me to where. I am memorizing the links actually. If you are also hooked to the App Store, you must have seen what I think is an issue.
Go to App Store and type any application name or name of a developer. You’ll see the page loading and a new page appears displaying the matching search term icons on top and the list of all matching terms below the icons. If you click on the icon of the app you will be taken to the application page, clicking on the arrow sign against the name of the developer takes you to the page that contains the bunch of applications deployed by the developer. All is well there, no issues.
Now, click on the arrow mark placed against the name of the application that you are searching for. We have that small issue here, a pop up message appears, “the application you’ve requested is not currently available in the US store.” Strange right? The application becomes available if you click on the developer’s name or the icon of the application.
This does not happen with songs, TV shows, movies and Podcasts in iTunes. You can click on either icons, name of the artist, album, shows, etc to get to your desired page. Apple is aware of this small issue with application links and sure will fix this soon.
