App Store without weirdness is a myth. Now here is something that’s slightly weird to be categorized under "Education". You have this cluster of three applications in the education category at App Store. These education apps work only with network connection. What they do is that they check the population of Australia, New Zealand and of course our dear old USA. ( US Population Clock , Australian Population Clock , New Zealand Population Clock )The clock ticks on and updates the population details in these countries, sometimes with crazy details like how many people are born per second, how many die per second, what is the input of total immigration population per second et al.

The three apps for these three countries are priced separately, all at $.0.99.  Now unless you are particularly inclined to know the details about how the population growth of a country effects the over-all socio-economic chain of that demography (or something like that), you might find all these details a bit mundane and depending on your mood, a bit morbid as well.

Still probably you would ‘ve installed it on your iPhone if it was for free, or if you had an app to show all these minute morbidity of two continents and one country for $0.99. That is, specially when future updates are coming.
