iTunes version 8.0.1 bug fixes
Apple has released iTunes 8.0.1 and you are curious to know the bug fixes with this release. Here is the quick summary.
iTunes 8.0.1 software addresses the flaw in iTunes TV episode downloads. Updating and downloading of TV episodes become automatic with this update. Issue with Genuis auto playlist is also fixed. This includes seamless playback while creating a new Genius playlist from a given track and syncing issue of the playlist with the new iPod Nanos.
Checking for updates in the App Store is also improved. With this update, performance and stability of iTunes is nearing prefection. Well, we are still waiting for iPhone firmware 2.2 for more fixes for the iPhone and iPod touch.

Sure, iTunes 8.0.1 fixed the TV and Genius issues, but now my iPhone backups are taking several hours again (a problem that had been remedied by the iPhone 2.1 firmware update). This seriously needs to be addressed in iPhone 2.2.

Yeah they included the Genius thing which I dont even use…The only difference I note in this update is that now my iTunes toolbar does not work. It appears but I cant control anything. Compatibility issues with Vista again? Hoping for a new update to fix this because there’s one word and its Annoying.
