Graphing Calculator: Draw Graphs on your iPhone
This is one of the most innovative education apps for the iPhone. What can you do with this application? Well a lot.
1. Use the graph tab to graphically examine your equations. Move the graph by touch and drag. Zoom the screen by pinching. Once you are zoomed into the area of interest, double tap the screen to trace your equations. Rotating the screen enables you to have full screen landscape view.
2. Enter up to four equations by using the equations tab. There is also a custom keyboard to help you type in these equations.
3. Setting the grid. You can set the xmax, xmin, ymax and ymin values of by going to the settings or by pinching and dragging the screen on the graph view. Color scheme: You can change the graph’s color scheme also.
An extraordinary iPhone app for any graph enthusiasts. It also supports a host of information – log, log10, In, exp, sin, cos, tan, asin, acos, atan, sinh, cosh, tanh, degrees to radians, radians to degrees, absolute value and square root.
What can you do?
1. Trace and plot multiple graphs.
2. View graphs in portrait and landscape modes.
3. Take a screenshot and e-mail the graph to yourself.
While using the app I found its tilting and multiple display functions to be pretty cool. Another feature, though a pretty personal one – I like the app’s color themes particularly well. For some reason I keep switching on from White on Black to Black on White pretty frequently.

I like PowerGraph better.
Hi Bob,
Thanks for your comment. PowerGraph is also a nice app. However, after using both, I personally feel Graphing Calculator’s UI a bit more engaging.
Thanks for the great review Victor. Unfortunately, I became really busy with my real job lately, and I haven’t been able to find free time to update the application. Just wanted to mention that I haven’t given up on adding more features to it like finding intersections and a table view, which are the two most requested features.
Hi Gabor.
Thanks for comments. Really looking forward to your updates on Graphing Calculator. It has been a really efficient app for us over here.
Cheers.
