Subway shuffle lite, one of the hottest puzzle games seems to be no more in the App Store. It mysteriously went missing this morning. When I switched on my iPhone I saw one update display on the App Store icon. I tapped on it only to see a pop up message that reads, “The item you’ve requested is not available.”

Where is Subway Shuffle lite? No words from Apple the custodian of the good brain racking game or from the natural parent Aubrey’s Puzzles. My next move was checking the availability of Subway Shuffle lite in the App Store after hastily switching on my PC. The same thing await for me, the pop up message in the App Store reads, “The item you’ve requested is not currently available in the US Store.” The developer cannot be reached for comments right away.

Next I hit the “Get App” button on the page that display the puzzle game. I entered my account name and the correct password. I wait on crossing my fingers as I watch the toolbar loading. The same shadow of disappointment looms on the whole of America. Here the pop up message read, “The availability of the item changed while you were using the store. The same item maybe available with a different price or elsewhere on the store.” What is happening?

Has Apple removed this puzzle game? We have no clue. I am going to file a missing report after waiting for some more hours. I am getting restless, there is every possibility that this puzzle game can be lost for days in the midst of more than 4000 applications in the App Store. Is this a case of removal or misplacement? We will all know soon.
