Forget the Graphics and Super Monkey Ball! Trace is here on your iPhone!

Trace is an innovative concept game where iPhone/iPod touch users create their own trajectory towards the goal in 6 different worlds and 120 different levels. The game is free and comes with innovative music for every level.

Trace is a multi-world, multi-level game sans the endless dazzle of graphics in a gaming space where graphics sometimes threatens to rule over the core content. Trace is a refreshingly new and brilliantly simple game where you interact with the game to chart your own creative trajectories while trying to trace a way to lead a bright red button towards its goal.

How do you trace? What do you trace and where do you trace?

Use the touch screen to draw tracks and take the red baton from its starting point to the goal. Avoid the obstructions by using the left, right and up buttons.

You have the option to trace through 6 Worlds and 120 levels:

1. Point, [1-20],, 2. Water [21-40],3. Plant [41-60],

4. Chalk [61-80], 5. Flame [81-100], and 6. Space [101-120])

While tracing, keep a tab on your progress through the timer and your scores.

The special thing about "Trace" is the way you trace. The  graphics is sort of minimalist in nature, but it lets you create your own navigational track while tracing. The way you trace can be insanely creative. It’s about navigation, true, but it’s about creative navigation where your track can be a map and that map can be a flower, a plant, a net or anything else you wish to create.

And while you do all this, you listen to some really nice music that plays perfect foil for the ambiance.

The whole game is about content and how you can creatively use that content. If you are a sketching fan, you can just do the touch around the screen, forget about the game as such and just engage yourself in some creative doodling.

The only complaint, if that’s a complaint that is, is that being an iPhone user I felt that instead of the right, left and up buttons, the developer could have used the iPhone’s accelerometer and used the iPhone’s tilting feature instead.

Can you make the app available for the iPhone firmware 2.0 instead just for the 2.1? I don’t want to upgrade to 2.1 cause I heard there’s a lot of problems with it, not to mention the fake bars they increased that are not accurate, only for looks. Would be nice if you could make it for 2.0.

Thank you.
