You may take this as a good news or a threat to your economical lifestyle due to the global financial recession, Wal-mart will be selling the iPhone starting November 15th. There is nothing wrong with the timing of Wal-mart time table, but we doubt that with 40% of American households financially drained, it is not practical now to dream of rich Christmas gifts such as the iPhone.

November 15th is also the perfect time to shop for gifts for Black Friday too. We are not going to stop buying smartphones, but the current situation might force us to rethink before we purchase. Smartphone manufacturers are considering price cut to get tuned to the financial turmoil.

Apple is also likely to cut down the price of the iPhone in view of the crumbled economy. The earlier speculation that Radio Shack may sell the iPhone is ruled out as the company seem to have hit a wall in their negotiation with Apple.
