2008 US Election results and iPhone applications in the App Store
Four years ago, there was no way of watching Election activities and Election results on the palm. Election in the US has gone hi-tech, I am saying this again. Thanks to iPhone application developers, iPhone users are well fed, everything about the election is available in the App Store. There is a staggering number of 30 applications all for Barack Obama and John McCain.
As the clock ticks, the validity of these election applications are nearing their shelving time and the time for knowing our next President is finally coming. While most of the apps are election vote trackers, some apps are designed for pursuing you to venture out and stand in the long queue to vote. This is not the launching of the Apple’s iPhone. It is Election time, the queues are much longer.
Some applications are designed to campaign for the candidates, both the Republican and Democrat developers have done a neat job here.
iRepublican is a Republican elephant badge for your iPhone, ultimate way to show that you’re proud of Senator John McCain. Obama ’08 is an application that allows Democratic iPhone users to call their friends and make frantic telephonic campaigns. To know every bit, you don’t actually need to venture out far, sit where you are and try out the most suited applications in the App Store and be well informed. Of course, do not forget to go out and vote if you are already registered.
You can even listen to Obama shouting “Do not boo, go out and vote and do not be very confident the race is not over yet.” Senator John McCain is calling out, “We are a few points down, but we can still make it.” Some of the applications are out there to reveal more information on Sarah Palin’s abuse of power as Governor, her wardrobe secrets, the dinner party of Obama with PLO leader, Obama’s aunt, McCain’s days as POW in Vietnam, etc.
Well, there are also applications that will bring the election results on your iPhone.
