Fun Element
Rescue Angles 60 contains sixty intriguing missions that can keep iPhone and iPod touch users engaged for hours at a stretch. Rescue Angels 500 on the other hand contains 500 missions capable of keeping you engaged for days. All the missions cannot be completed at a go. That is assured and this adds to the ultimate fun element. The game play and the interface look simple. However, I warn you it’s not only about shooting; you need to think a lot to determine the correct angle and the way to shoot. The game is thus more of a puzzle cracking mission.
There is a minimum number of angels to be set free to complete each of the missions. The number of arrows for the missions is also limited. You can adjust the direction of your bow and then slide up or down the side of your device to give the exact arrow power to set free the maximum number of angels per shots. There are some hidden ways to earn extra arrows and power ups. Here you need to figure out the best way to get them.
Rescue Angels has 60 three sections - Bronze, Silver and Gold. Rescue Angels 500 has five sections; Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Clearing each of the sections earns you the corresponding badges.
The game concept
The concept of Rescue Angels is all new in the App Store. The combination of old bow and arrows games with the twisted idea of you saving angels is completely new and exciting. The game play is not complicated, you just need to determine the exact angles and give the exact power level to the arrows.
The devil’s giggle when you fail to set free the minimum number of angels is cool as suggested by a reviewer in the App Store. Yes, the games are equally addictive for all age groups. Small tussles for Rescue Angels can always happen if there is only one device in the family. It is that addictive!
Pricing
Rescue Angels 60 is priced at $0.99 and Rescue Angels 500 is priced at $4.99. The developer has done a fair job even in the pricing. Paying a little more for having the ultimate fun is not a crime in the gaming world.
The missing Link
However, I am confused on not finding a free version, of the game. This missing version would have been a good strategy to let iPhone users know the addictiveness of Rescue Angels. A game with 15 odd missions will push iPhone users to purchase the full version.
I have got Rescue Angels 500 and I am struggling with the Platinum Missions. I will updates you about the various challenges as soon as I clear the five sections.

Kevin, do you know how to get past level #116?
just heard from xcubelabs, they are gonna release a new update with a few fixes.
I’m stuck at #116 as well…I think theres is a bug, the best I could do is 55 angels (of 60 requested).
Ack! I’m stuck at 116 as well! Some are ridiculously simple… annoyingly so, but this one seems impossible! Most have ten or more different combinations to solve, this MIGHT have a single one!
I’m having trouble getting past mission 26…. I can get the five angels but not the one at the top……
Not sure what else to do….
Sandy, #26 is a tough one. I got past it by using a combo of elevation: 69 and power: 55. This enables you to shoot an arrow that clears the angel at the top. The arrow then bounces off the rubber wall and hits the bombs to release the other 5 angels.

Lenny, I contacted xCube Labs and got same feedback as Bond but new update hasn’t been posted yet. It should have new power ups so that you can clear #116. Best I could get was 53.
I tried almost EVERY combination possible for the #116…The best is still 55 out of 60. I don’t play anymore, hoping for an update…or a way to unlock the rest of the levels. Is there a way to contact the authors?
The app has been updated! Game #116 now has 2 power up options added (the three arrow). Now you can clear the level. Download the updated app at iTunes.
Also - I cleared all the platinum levels but the next round of games starting with #149 remain locked. I think its another QA issue. Annoying! I’m emailing xCube Labs again. Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks Sammy, I managed to get through 26, now it’s 28 I can’t get past…
Sandy — try this for #28. The key is to knock out the two orange boxes so the arrow can bounce to the block of angels.
1. Get the three-arrow power-up that is in the upper-left corner. (Use elevation: 96)
2. Shoot three arrows at elevation: 117 to knock out one of the orange blocks. Any power over 80 should do the job.
3. Use elevation: 117 again to get the second orange box.
4. Shoot arrow using elevation: 117 a third time. The arrow should bounce from section to section until it reached the end and hits one of the bombs.
This will release all of the angels. If you have any problems, let me know. Have fun!
I am on level 60 on the 500, and haven’t been able to pass it. I have been on it for weeks. Can someone please give me a cheat for it? I am going nuts over it.

I have managed to get close with 51 but I always end up having one left

It took me a day to figure out #36. I got past it before but I forgot how I did it!
So, try power:45 and elevation:48. This allows you gently send the arrow across the rubber ledge and hit the power-up angel. The rest is cake.

Sammy, Claudia: what version are you running now? I’m on version 1.6 and level 116 has gone back to being hard (i.e. no power ups). It’s impossible. I’ve tried so many times. Best I can do is 56.
