Solving life’s dilemmas, one app at a time

Evernote, Vicinity, Cro Mag, Lonely Planet, Game Changer, Urbanspoon, Loopt and now Shazam. These are not just famous apps, they are now famous ads that have found their way into the App Store.

The latest in this series of app -enhanced iPhone ads features the popular Shazam app. This latest Ad in the iPhone series, like the latest trend with the iPhone ads, makes use of one of the apps, one popular app that is, at the App Store -Shazam. The ad displays a hand holding the iPhone, with the Shazam app running on it. The invisible user (and his visible hand) puts the iPhone in front of a speaker and lets the song be recorded on to the iPhone. And then the voice over says the punch line: “Solving Life’s dilemmas, one app at a time”.

This marks a change in the way users are viewing the iPhone. The initial “How to enter the App Store” ad is gone. The latest trend is showing the iPhone’s effeceticvity – famously, one app at a time.  See the entire app ad gallery at the Apple gallery.
