While the iPhone, the App Store and the umbrella economy of applications and accessories together have been the biggest block blaster story of 2008, here is a string to that unending saga that might seem a bit wacky even within this mindboggling space.

The idea is to turn your iPhone into a breathalyzer so that it can measure your blood alcohol level using your iPhone. The accessory comes with a wand like structure to which you blow in your bad breath. the breathalyzer then checks and displays the level of alcohol on your iPhone provided it is jacked in to the iPhone.

While that’s very cool and might be a very necessary accessory, especially over the holiday week-end, it comes at a price. $79.99.
