Will the iPhone be available for $99? Will Walmart sell it?

The first part has spiced up the rumor engine in the web over the last couple of days. And it is still in that mysterious limbo of rumors, gossips and speculations.

The second part, however, is true. Walmart will sell the iPhone. And that news is coming straight from the horse’s mouth. According to a report in the Wireless Week, Walmart employees across several central New Jersey locations have said that the iPhone is due on their shelves very soon.  Infact, they will are expecting the what and when of iPhone sales through the Walmart selves. Several electronics department employees at those Walmart locations said yesterday:

We’re going to find out everything today,
