What is so special about having another Wiki application on your iPhone/iPod touch, you might ask. Well, if you are a Wiki-o-phobic (in the positive sense of the term) you will need this application more than other Wikipedia apps.

WikiTap takes content building on the go at Wikipedia to the next level. Its principles are neat, simple and highly efficient.

Adding to the Wiki Knowledge base: Where this app scores over other wiki apps is that it allows the users to add video contents to the already vast gamut of Wiki knowledge. Not surprising, given WikiTap is an initiative from Veveo, one of the key players behind the video-anywhere revolution and the vtap web video service.
