First ever iPhone games development summit to be hosted by 3 Power LLC at University of Califronia

If you have ever doubted in the cult of iPhone games here is something for you. After Stanford University  offered a course in iPhone app development, the first ever iPhone Games summit, will soon go live. The iGames Summit - The iPhone Games Conference hosted by 3 Power LLC will take place at the Mission Bay Conference Center in the University of California. The aim of this summit?

educating developers, investors, and executives about the iPhone gaming space.

iphone-gaming-summitThe summit will happen on March 19, from 11.00 AM to 5.30 PM, Pacific Time.
There will be two sessions:

1.    “Lessons Learned: Why iPhone Games Work”
2.    “What Does the Future Hold for iPhone Games,”

Some of the participating companies include Booyah, Tapulous, AdMob, SGN, and Zynga.
Registration will go on till February 19 and the registration fee is $299. Interested academicians (both students and teachers) will need to pay a slashed fee of $ 85. The registration is on and in fact interested speakers are welcome. Experienced speakers on social games, distribution methods, and those well versed in using GPS and accelerometer in iPhone games are highly sought after.
