Help the caveman save his village from destruction through the Cronk app for the iPhone

The Cronk caveman app is a prime example of what you can do with the iPhone if you are really imaginative.

The idea behind the app is simple. You just gotta use your tapping skills to save Cronk, the caveman’s house from direct demolition under the crumbling avalanche of rocks.

Just tap on the similar colored rocks and help Cronk save his dear house.

However, not all the rocks are menacing. There are some special rocks in this imaginative world that help you as well.

Gameplay: Putting a simple concept of tapping to break a series/chain, but applying that in a pre-historic sort of an ambience is something novel.

Game levels and difficulties: There are two modes-the classic and the time mode where you can select the time and any of the8 levels and also set the time you want in short packages of 2, 5 and 7 minutes.

The initial levels are easy. However, as you go on to the higher levels it becomes a lot harder as you now need to figure out the combination of which colors come after which from Cronk’s hand. Also, at this time there are options to hit special rocks that reverses the rocky current, hence giving that extra bit of added time that halts the rock from avalanching into Cronks’s hut.

Interface: And there comes the interface. I really like the graphics and use of color in this app as this brings to your palmtop an ancient world with an ambience long lost in the contours of time. The edgy rocks and cliffs, the caveman Cronk with his shot up hair, the skeletons and giant bone and finally the brivation effect when the actual rocky avalanche sets in lend a different characteristics to the whole concept of ambience

All in all, a pretty addictive color tapping and color matching game that is sure to make for quality time pass and also help in testing your reactin time.
