Rainbow Ninja is a simple game to test how fast your mind and sight work and how quick your fingers contribute to your thoughts. The game is a perfect combination of puzzle and action. You have nine seconds to let other iPhone users know that you are very brilliant and fast. The developer has announced the app launching contest too; the highest scorer of the game would walk away with $500 and many more gifts for those players who submit their scores.

The game
The interface of the game is simple with six colored circles arranged in a semi circle. In the middle are the timer and the game directive. As the game proceeds, you’ll be instructed either to “press text color” or “press word.” When you are instructed to press text color, you simply need to tap the circle that matches with the font color of the word. When you are directed to press word, you should tap the circle that matches the given color name.
The challenges
The colored circles outside the timer go on changing to confuse players. The game demands a lot of attention. When the instruction reads “Press Word Yellow” you are suppose to press the yellow circle. The little challenge here is the word “Yellow” would be colored red, and you end up pressing the red circle. You get eliminated then and there.
Same little confusion when you are instructed to “Press Text Color Red.” In this case too, the word, “Red” would be colored purple. You need to tap the purple circle, but end up tapping on the red one. The whole challenge of this game lies in the mystery and confusion of following a very simple instruction. Colors have ways to confuse iPhone users.
Rainbow Ninja is the first game from Aresant, Inc retailed at $1.99. The game is perhaps the most simple but addictive game in the App Store. Try this game to find out how a simple game can slow down your speed and also confuse you.

I just got this game and I can’t seem to put it down. It may seem simple, but it is super addictive. The sounds crack me up too!
