Steve Jobs to continue leading Apple despite failing health
Steve Jobs, who co-founded Apple Inc in 1976 has come a long way. Despite failing health reports that we read very often, the Apple chief says he will recover from his present health condition. For the first time, after all those rumors about his failing health, Steve Jobs himself concedes that he had not been keeping well for some time.
Doctors think they have found the cause: a hormone imbalance that has been robbing me of the proteins my body needs to be healthy.”
Steve Jobs further confirmed that he will continue to be CEO as he recovers from the present health condition.
Apple’s board of Directors in a written statement said they are happy to have Jobs as Apple head and said Jobs will be given unwavering support. The board ruled out the whole possibility of Jobs retiring or replacing him at present.
Steve Jobs will probably miss delivering the Keynote address at the upcoming Macworld Expo 2009, but that doesn’t mean he is ready to retire as many people have speculated.
