Big Fun Racing gives new touch to iPhone racing games

The maker of Bubble Bang and The Red Big Button comes with a big bang this time with an innovative racing game, Big Fun Racing.

Big Fun Racing is a stunt racing game for the iPhone and the iPod touch. Here you race against time and the rather unfriendly track to complete each of the exciting levels. If you are looking for action, you have it here. If you are looking for something to kill time, Big Fun Racing can keep you engaged for hours. There are 50 built in tracks, which you can play in four difficulty modes, easy, normal, hard and ultra.

The game

Select one of the four cars that are not locked (2 out of the 6 are locked), the select difficulty mode. If you are new to racing games, go for the easy mode to get familiar with the controls. The bottom right arrow is to accelerate the car and the left bottom arrow is for reverse. That’s it! Oh tilt left or right to steer the car.

big-fun-racingIn all the levels the objective is to collect all the coins scattered on the track within the allotted time. Real fun comes when you get the hang of the control and speed. To give a real push to this crazy stunt race, you can select one of the five preloaded unique music tracks.

Once you complete the difficulty mode, you’d be determined to go to the next mode or you’ll be tempted to play in the same mode to beat your best time. The better part is still to come. If you are done with the 50 tracks, you can download additional tracks via the internet, that’s cool. You can always race in the latest track. You can also see when the next download would be available.

The cars look real and the graphics are kept simple but realistic. The game is retailed at $0.99, which is kinda cool for a well made game. I can see this game making to the top list in the racing category.
