After filling the App Store with flashlight and laughing applications, developers are now focused on deploying apps that feature irritating bodily sounds. Farting, burping and vomiting applications are the applications in great demand at present. The rush for developing these type of applications got initiated with Apple accepting Pull My Finger, which was earlier rejected on the ground of limited utility value.

These apps are for playing some embarrassing pranks on your friends, to irritate them and make them sick too.

Burping and vomiting applications are specially for making your friends sick either by letting them listen to the sounds or looking at the images. There are more than fifteen applications in the burping genre and about sixteen apps in the vomiting genre.

Most of the app descriptions in the App Store suggest using the apps to have ultimate fun with your friends. One app description recommends using the app to express that you don’t like the food that was served. Most of the applications are combo packages where you have fart, burp and vomiting sounds to annoy your friends.

We have heard of Apple’s plan to launch premium games package. With the latest demand for these weird and funny apps, Apple should consider launching a special app category with a tag like “Funny Apps” or “Offending App.” Well, it’s good to learn that developers who deployed these apps are getting recognized and are also making money.
