First, Pharce is compatible with the iPhone and the iPod touch 2nd generation. On the iPhone you have the added advantage of taking an instant picture and create the funny videos on the go. When you launch the app, you’ll see the new, play and the edit buttons at the bottom. To start creating videos, tap the new button and select the photo on which you want to make the video from your device library.

On the photo, trace the mouth and the chin. Once done, hit the record button and start speaking (be loud). After you’re done with the recording, you can go on and add special effects like, animation, sound effects, eyes and other funny things. Test your creation by hitting the play button. You’ll be glad to see that your photo really talks.

That’s not all! You can send your new creation to your email, Pharce converts the recording into video. The video is then ready for mass distribution among your friends. You can even upload your video directly to YouTube if you have an account from the application interface.

The app is all for $1.99, not a bad deal to have fun with your friends. Do not mistake this app for a serious video recording apps though. However, this can as well compensate for the absence of video recording app in the App Store. I hope the application would come with the option to move other body parts in the coming upgrade to make things look a little more life like.

On second thought, I don’t quite like the pushing of information that the video was made using Pharce at the end of all videos. That too after paying $1.99.
