Pixel art comes to App Store
After the insanely engaging React, doApps has created another app that is sure to keep you hooked to your iPhone for a long time. While React explored the potentials of the iPhone UI to its fullest, myPixelArt does will be keeping you busy applealing to your creative side. Joe Sriver of do Apps tells us:
This app allows you to create colorful art by adding “pegs” to a canvas. The beautiful array of bright colors can be used then to create patterns, images, or words. Finally they can be posted on the web.

As you launch the app you will go to the main screen you will see a 20×30 “pixel”-ed space. You can then choose the pixel sizes from small (12×18) to medium (16X24) and large (20×30). Just scroll to choose the pixel .
Tap on the icon at the bottom right to choose from 24 different shades of red, green, blue and grey. Choose the one you want and then just tap along dots on the main screen and create you pixel art –multicolored or mono-colored, in terms of images or words or a mixture of both.
Once you are done with your pixel art you have the option to add it to the iPhone photo library. Else, you also have the option to e-mail it as well as post the work at the DoApps website.

2. Easy to use interface
3. Old school grey pixeled main-screen look.
4. If you want to erase your pixel art, just tap on the “clear” button to return to the main screen.
5. Your work is autosaved.
