Sookie Solutions, LLC has brought the old time favorite snake game for iPhone users. The game is here to test your watchfulness and quickness. You have to help the snake gobble up as many pellets as possible within the shortest possible time to get to the top. To guide the snake, you simply have to tap on the pellets that you think the snake should swallow next. It is not that easy, all the way you have to make sure the snake does not bump into the obstacles and also hits its own tail. 

The game

Within the game you can either play in the Arcade mode or the challenge mode. In the Arcade mode, you have 28 levels to clear to turn your snake into a super snake. To clear each of the levels, you have to collect all the pellets in that level. As the level advance, speed increases and obstacles also multiplies, that is when your pulse also quickens.

In the challenge mode, you are tested on how long can you make the snake grow in length. More pellets the snake gobble up the longer it becomes and the space also shrinks to make the challenge somewhat maddening. You can be the Snake XTreme Champion if you can set the highest score. 

Graphics, sounds and controls

The game features a perfect graphics and the audio effect goes well with the challenging nature of the game. When the snake hit the obstacles, there is a realistic dashing sound. When the excitement mounts, the music also change to match with your pulse. The controls are kept simple, you just need to tap on the pellets to direct the snake. 

The game is free at least for now. However, there is a note that the game would be retailed at $1.99 after seven days in the App Store. It’s worth the projected price. So if you don’t want to pay for the game, this is the right time to go and hit the Buy button in App Store.
