Faster and hotter new iPhone coming in June, 2009
Adding yet another rumor string to the next generation iPhone, BGR said he was tip off by AT&T insider that Apple would launch a new iPhone in mid June. BGR writes that the next generation iPhone would be faster and would give users seamless experience, which other smartphones could not provide.
The write up also suggests that Apple’s netbook is expected at the same time. “Faster” here suggest the implementation of the higher speed HSDPA (7.2 Mbps) confirming the rumor about Apple using a new infineon chipset for the next iPhone upgrade.
This latest tip off adds creditability to the statement of UAE provider Etisalat that a new iPhone is due in June. Considering that the first and the 3G iPhones were both launched in Mid June of 2007 and 2008 respectively, it is not after all a wild guess that the next upgrade of the phone could be coming at the same time this year. It is kind of a tradition for Apple to follow the iPhone calendar this way.
For now, we have to wait and watch and also go on adding the wish list features.
