Now conference calls and meeting available for iPhone users
I was just thinking the other day that it would be nice if I could make conference calls from the iPhone. And then while just casually browsing through the App Store, I came across this app in the “Business” category which provides exactly this facility.
Hey, Otto’s app makes conference calls smooth by replacing PIN numbers with the much easier to use voice-control feature. No hassle with PINs, you just need to pick up people from your phone’s contact list and then ask Otto, the virtual assistant to invite them to join the conference call.
Features to excite you:
1. Smooth and fast 3 steps to start a conversation.
2. No Reservations.
3. Toll-free number.
4. In-conference features available just at the tap of #.
5. Otto dialing to missed calls.
6. Mute option.
7. Funky-ish Audio clipart.
The app is free. However, for getting started, you need to have an Otto account. The Otto account will also provide 200 free minutes.
You can then join an existing conference or start a new one. Setting up the conference itself is real easy. Just press #, call Otto and he will intuitively meet all the conference calling needs.
Otto, in some way has filled a gap in the App Store. The power of the already powerful iPhone just got upgraded again. On a sad note, the app is only for iPhone users who are in the US and Canada. I wish other countries too get into the Otto loop as soon as possible.
