Catcha Mouse iPhone game review: Compete with an intelligent mouse
I hate mice. Who does not actually? Here is one reason why you’ll hate them more because one of them is in the App Store to outwit you. Catcha Mouse from Odasoft is an iPhone game featuring an intelligent mouse who can smell traps and poisoned foods. It’s so cunning he can find his way back to its cozy hole if you are not intelligent enough to block its way.
If you think that most free games in the App Store sucks, you are wrong this time. Catcha mouse is a simple puzzle and strategy game that can keep you engaged if you are not that type of person who concedes defeat so easily. The instruction of the game is super simple.
There is a mischievous mouse in the far corner, some traps are already laid to trap it and there are holes through which the mouse can escape. You have to strategically lay traps to make sure that the mouse do not escape through on of the holes.
This is a fair play, if you lay one trap the mouse jumps one step. Here you need to study the layout of the board and make your moves wisely, the mouse is not that dumbo type. One mistake can be so deadly, you have to block his escape routes before he can make out what your next move would be.
There are three game modes, easy, medium and hard and hundred levels of game play.
The graphics are kept simply and are super clean. The audio content is simple too. I could not tell you exactly, but the sound associated with the escape of the mouse can really make you feel ashamed, seriously.
Well, on the negative side, I find most of the levels in the hard and medium modes insanely impossible. In some of the levels, I somehow feel that there is no way to win at all unless the mouse makes a wrong move, which I know it never did. For this I stick to the easy level not to get frustrated whenever I have few minutes to spare. This is the free version of the game, you can get the more advanced version in the App Store featuring 200 levels.

This game is a retarded one. Can’t play most of the Medium and Hard levels. Good that it is free.
How did this game made to the top. The hard and medium levels are not playable at all. Strange. Is there anyone who cleared even the medium level? Just curious
Oh good God! This is a mind blowing game… Please make the mice a bit foolish in the medium and hard levels or give necessary tweaks to the layout, some levels are impossible.

C’mon, it can’t be that bad. Don’t play the hard level if that is too difficult for you. Stop whining, this is the top free application and game in the App Store.

Hey. I just got the app like 30 minutes ago. Cleared all of both easy AND medium just fine. The game requires you to think a bit. Right now I’m on level 33 of hard. Working on it. But they are most definitely NOT unbeatable.
i dont like the game,game idea not impressive. But animation looks good. My suggestion rat is coming from any of the hole, keep the trap such a way to capture it before reaches the food.

those of you who can’t even beat any of the medium levels are actual literal retards. you are brain damaged. i must assume you also can not tie your own shoes.
The levels are difficult but doable that’s part of the fun. Just keep trying!
This game has some bugs. For example, hard level 14 is impossible unless you follow this solution:

As you can see, the mouse doesn’t always choose the winning path when it can. If such random program logic exists, the game is defective.

I cleared easy and medium without help
there’s a pattern to it, mouse avoids places with lots of traps, and tries to get nearer to places with most holes. I got stuck at level 14 hard though..
heey! I’ve done all easy and medium levels and most of the hard. I’m up to level 24 on hard; but they are defenitely possible.
oh and as for you “Jay” I’ve done every level so far (including 14 on hard) without viewing soloutions.
