iPhone OS 3.0 beta 4 and SDK 3.0 beta 4 released

iphone-sdk-and-os-30Lately Apple has become obsessed with biweekly releases when it comes to the release of beta softwares. Apple has just released the fourth beta version of iPhone OS 3.0 and SDK 3.0.

Along with these releases, Apple also issued pre-release version of iTunes 8.2 for developers, which is required for activating the new beta releases. As such developers need to install iTunes 8.2 pre-release before installing the iPhone 3.0 beta 4.

Primary iPhone users, my usual warning is do not try to install the beta software even though you can get it elsewhere on the net, if you don’t want your device to be bricked.

I’ll let you know about the new features and tweaks given in this release very soon. Stay tuned.
