On Monday Apple send out an invitation to registered iPhone programmers to volunteer in testing the Push Notification, which would be coming with 3.0. From the mail content send out to developers, we now are sure that the launch day is coming soon.

If you are a developer who have gotten the iPhone OS beta 5 on your iPhone, you are eligible to join the push notification testing team. You’ll get a promo Code for Associated Press app pre release copy along with the invitation mail.
