Blez a simple and a super addictive arcade game: iPhone game review

Some simple games are addictive, some are simply evil and fun and some are deceptive. Blez is a game that is simple, addictive and deceptive too. Why deceptive? When you look at the game for the first time, you’d probably think that this is meant only for children. You got it wrong there. Blez is a game for all ages.

blezPlaying this game somehow puts you in the position of God who made the Heavens and the Earth and who separated Day and Night. In Blez, you have the same task to separate night and day.

Half of the screen represents night and half represents day bifurcated by a slider bar in the middle that has a small opening. There are objects that belong to day and night all mixed up in the two fields flying around. Specifically stars and clouds (the clouds look like planets).

Well, the challenge is to manipulate the sliding bar to let the stars go into the night field and the clouds to go to the day field. When all the objects are in their right fields, the level ends and you are all ready to try a more challenging level.

I find the initial levels very easy, however the bouncing speed of the objects and their number increases as the levels advance. When you are happy to have caged in one object to the right field there is always a possibility of another object bouncing through the same opening to the wrong side.

You gotta be real fast and watchful. Tame this simple but challenging game with your sliding expertise, quickness and watchfulness.

Priced at $0.99, I don’t see any reason why you should wait anymore to have hours of sliding fun.
