Bloodlust review: Mosquito smacking iPhone game
What would happen if you camp out in a jungle infested with mosquitos with nothing but a sleeping bag to cover yourself? You’ll end up smacking mosquitos left and right the whole night. It’s not something you would want to experience, of course. Bloodlust is an application that would give you the chance to experience virtual smacking mosquitos.
Bloodlust from Rad Lab LLC is a simple game where you have to smash mosquitos.
There is a hand displayed on the screen and the moment you launch the game, mosquitos would start swarming around the hand. You have to keep close watch on the hand and kill the mosquitos the moment they land on the hand to suck blood.
You have to tap on the mosquitos that have settled on the hand; kill in chain to gain more points.
I find the theme of the game somewhat sick, however the developer did a neat job with the animation and sound effects. This squashing game terminates when your health level becomes too low.
If you are not a hemophobia person, this game could be fun for a few minutes when played with friends. Alone, you may choose not to open the game at all. It’s retailed at $0.99, I seriously think it should have been free.
